Vivian Catherine B. Collins, 84, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2014, following a lengthy illness in her home, with her daughter and grandchildren by her side. She was born April 26, 1929 to the late William Edgar Bone, Sr., and Vivian Pearl Barnes, in Wilson, NC. She lived most of her life in Wake County in Raleigh, Cary, Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs. She is remembered as a beautiful woman who was extremely loyal to her family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly, and Larry Bennett; granddaughters, Christie B. Dinkins (Billy) and Brittany M. Aiello (Peter).
She was predeceased by Fredric M. Collins, her husband; daughter Victoria C. Adcock, sisters, Mae Davis and Francis Newman, and brother, William “Tink” E. Bone Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 2pm, at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC. William Green of FUMC of Cary, NC will officiate the service.
