Cheryl Ann Beaman

Cheryl Ann (Emory) Beaman, 58, went to be at peace with our Lord on the afternoon of December 21, 2016, while surrounded by family. Cheryl was born in Raleigh, NC on August 29, 1958 a daughter of the late Jane Pugh and Luther Otis Emory.

She was predeceased by her first husband, John Edward Beaman III (1991), her second husband, David L. Strider (1997), and by her mother in-law Virginia (Boots) Hudson Beaman. She is survived by her children: Andrew Beaman, and Brooke Beaman; her brother David Emory and her sister Anita Chappell; her nephew Jason Chappell Corwin Emory and her niece Candace Chappell; her father-in-law John Edward Beaman Jr., and her brother-in-laws William Stuart Beaman and Michael Hudson Beaman.

The family of Cheryl is deeply saddened by her unexpected death, but finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the Kingdom of God.

A memorial service will be held on December 30, 2016 at 7pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 300 Saint Mary's St. Raleigh. Family and friends will be received immediately after the funeral services. A private burial will be held in Spring of 2017 at Raleigh Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Second Chance Pet Adoption, a No-Kill rescue organization in Wake County.
