Mr. Huynh was born August 10, 1945 in Saigon, Vietnam. He was a long time High School chemistry teacher and beloved by his students.
Mr. Huynh in his later years owned and operated one of the first resort style retreats in the Loc-An region of southern Vietnam before retiring and moving to Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mr. Huynh was a kind, generous and peaceful man of the Buddhist faith. He is survived by his family: Kinh Truong, Khoa Huynh, Mai Tran Hanh Nhat, Carlos Lopez, Bich Khue Huynh, Jamal Chow, Viva Dunbar, Han Huynh.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm, with a prayer service from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the Chapel of the Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh.
