Edna received her education from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. She was a retired employee of Glaxo Smith Kline as well as NC State University.
She is survived by her two sons, Ernest Lee White, III, and his wife, Kathy, Kenneth Blanchard White; three grandsons, Andrew Lee White, and his wife, Mary Kate, Joel Philip White, and his wife, Allison, and Benjamin Isaacs White, and his wife, Caroline; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ernest Lee White, Jr., as well as her youngest son, Burton Alan White, and her grandson, Kenneth Blanchard White, II.
A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Officiating was Pastor Dan Thomas. Burial followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.
