You may remember me (Bob Brunson) and my wife (Janie Brunson) as you and Ed rented your house on Kinston Ave in Atlantic Beach to us back in the 80's.  Ed was so nice to both of us and we had many fond memories of great times at your house and I have great memories of Ed and you as well.  Ed was the nicest guy anyone could ever have the privilege to meet and he made a lifelong impression on me and I am very sad to hear of his passing.

I rode by your old house tonight on Kinston Ave. and said a prayer for Ed and you and I had a big smile on my face as I was thinking of Ed.  

I will miss him but will always remember his kindness and the way he treated Janie and myself many years ago although it seems just like yesterday to me.

Our thoughts will be with you.

It was a sad day to learn of Ed's passing. What a unique person! He had a hard shell but was pretty soft inside. He was one of the best managers I had at IBM. Demanding but fair. He would stand up to anyone when needed and stand up for his people all the time. Wicked sense of humor. He could fix anything. I have some great memories working for Ed. I am better for knowing him.

Hi Noriko. I am so sorry to hear that Ed has died. I have great memories of our time working together. He was very smart and also a lot of fun. I always had to check my phone when he left my office to see if he had unplugged it again. After dealing with the work problem of the day, we talked cars a lot : his work on his exotic collection and his ideas to install a funny horn on my sports car.

It is wonderful that you included so many pictures of your life together.I enjoyed looking at them all.
