She passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 76, in her favorite chair, holding her precious fur baby, watching her western movies.
Ellen worked in many capacities in her career, but she spoke fondly of Brown-Wynne & her family there.
She had many hobbies; thrift store shopping, finding treasures, painting, decorating, and restoring furniture. Her greatest passion was caring for fur babies, but most of all making sure everyone she knew was special and important.
Ellen is survived by her son, Chris Glover of Raleigh; brother, Kenneth (Carol) Jeffries of Garner; niece, Tammy Jeffries of Garner; nephew, Travis Jeffries of Angier; and her extended family.
A visitation and reception will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary's Street, Raleigh.
