Everette Franklin Lloyd

He was born at home Nov. 20, 1934 Washington County, TN, the son of Clayton Byrd Lloyd and Flora Garvin Lloyd. ‘ Zeke’ was married to Naomi for 52 years of marital bliss. He was her hero, her knight in shining armor and her lovable pain in the neck. Our chosen daughter Soon Cha and three beautiful grandchildren Elise, Liana, and David have been a blessing.

Proceeded in passing by his parents and sisters Emohene Lloyd Dykes, Janey Sue Peterson, Julia Mae Lloyd, brother-in-law W.H. Dykes, nephew Bill Dykes.

‘Zeke’ was in the Army Combat Engineers, Ranger trained, demolition specialist. Thank you for your service. ‘Zeke’ retired from GMAC, after 39 years of loving everything about that business, all the dealers he served, most especially all the many folks that he had the pleasure of sharing the workload with.

Other surviving family members include Beth Ann French niece, Carlos Peterson brother-in-law, pastor Jeremy Dykes great nephew, Andrea wife, Rebecca Dykes Jeremy‘s mom. The extended family of Kathy Penny (George), Cindy (Roger) Danny, Steve, Michelle, Chase, Ava, Hewits, Laneys, (Graham) Navickas’ chosen brother ‘Zeke’ and sister Naomi. We have so much to be thankful for.

A Memorial Service for Zeke will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Jeremy Dykes, via Zoom. A reception will be held in the funeral home immediately following the service.
