In Remembrance of Tad Brundage
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend, Tad Brundage. Tad was an extraordinary presence within our organization, respected not only for his deep expertise but also for his friendship, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to those around him.
Throughout his remarkable 50+ year career in the insurance industry, Tad made a lasting impact on countless colleagues, clients, and market partners. His extensive knowledge of the energy sector-including both oil& gas and renewables-positioned his as a trusted advisor across the U.S. and U.K. markets as well as EPIC’s lead subject-matter expert for energy.
Tad brought a distinctive philosophy to his work, referring to relationship-building as “turning base metals into gold”. His ability to transform everyday interactions into long-lasting partnerships set him apart as a leader and a respected figure across the industry. He was deeply dedicated to his clients, often acting as an extension of their own teams, and his close market relationships allowed him to devise solutions that others in the industry could only aspire to.
As one of EPIC’s top producers and a widely respected figure within the broader insurance industry, Tad leaves behind a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and a lasting influence on colleagues, clients and partners across the industry. He was, in every sense, a legend in our industry.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Tad’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of working with him. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, Tad’s family has asked for donations to St. Judes Children’s Hospital ( https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sl=donate-now ) or March of Dimes ( https://www.marchofdimes.org/donate-now ) in Tad’s honor.
