

Gregory Edward Warren passed away on July 19, 2014, following a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Greg was born on October 17, 1958 in Raleigh. He graduated from Needham Broughton High School and attended Atlantic Christian (Barton) College and NC State University exploring both his love of music and flowers. He turned his passion for flowers into a successful business recognized by the satisfaction of many clients as well as his peers who awarded him the Designer of the Year in 1991.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Wiley A. Warren, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Della Brady Warren, brothers Jeff Warren and wife Kennetha, Mike Warren and wife Heather, nieces Landon and Lindsay, and nephews Michael, Clark, and Wade, all of Raleigh. He is also survived by his Uncle James Edward Warren of Southern Shores, NC, his 5 adoring dogs he referred to as "the kids," and countless wonderful friends who have been so supportive of him and his family these past few years.

A celebration of Greg’s life will take place in Raleigh at Church of the Good Shepherd, Wednesday, July 23 at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM, Wednesday at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Greg’s family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street in Raleigh.
Flowers, Greg’s passion, are appreciated and Greg requested any memorials be directed to Church of the Good Shepherd Music Ministry, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org), Wake County SPCA, or Rex Cancer Center.
