Mr. Bissette retired in 1992 after 30 years of service with the North Carolina Department of Transportation as a Lab Manager in Photogrammetry. He was a hardworking man, who enjoyed spending time in his shop on various projects including wood and stained glass. Mr. Bissette was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, known for his good humor and quick wit. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing at Oak Island.
In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his son, Mark Bissette; his grandsons, Joshua and Jesse; as well as a host of extended family.
