Janet Bernath Taylor

She was born in Wauseon, Ohio. She was the daughter of Merril and Madge Bernard. She attended Kent State University and graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in sociology.

Mrs. Taylor was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert Estes Taylor and her brother, Lt. Donal L Bernard, USMC. She is survived by numerous cousins and friends throughout the county.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:00pm at Saint Mark’s Chapel at Mordecai Historic Park located at 1 Mimosa Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.

In lieu of flowers, donations came be made to SPCA of Wake County (200 Petfinder Ln, Raleigh, NC 27603), Transitions LifeCare (250 Hospice Cir, Raleigh, NC 27607), or the Salvation Army (1863 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604).
