Jesse Ray Bruner

He retired from IBM after 30 years as a programmer, and served in the US Air Force. Jesse was an avid gardener and a member of the Master Gardeners.

Jesse leaves his memories with a son and daughter-in-law Chris and Lynn Bruner, grandson Alex Bruner, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Danny Robinson, sister-in-law’s Dora Bruner and Shirley Wyatt, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Bruner; son, Ashley Bruner; brothers, Johnny Bruner and Ronnie Bruner.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday May 16th 2026 and A Service of Remembrance will be held following at 1:30 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park (7209 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh).
