She graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Animal Husbandry.
She worked as Housewife and Caregiver.
She was actively involved in raising three children, gardening, cooking, and tending to the many animals she fostered including her beloved West Highland Terriers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Flood, her daughter, Amanda Joan Flood, and grandson Michael Donnelly
She is survived by her sons Peter (Carol) and Timothy (Bobby), and grandchildren Malisa Jones (Rodney), Matthew Donnelly (Tammy), Eric Flood, Laura Green (Vincent), and Lindsey Flood.
The family would like to thank Empire Home Health Care`s team for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. And for Timothy and Bobby her primary caregivers for the last 5 years

These last few years were difficult for Mom. We will very much miss her but glad she has found peace.
