John Michael Gornick, Jr., 93, passed away in the comfort of his home on August 14, 2020. Born in Hokendauqua, PA on November 17, 1926; he was the son of the late John Michael Gornick Sr. and Anna E (Lelko).

John was a graduate of Easton High School after which he worked for the Easton Express newspaper for 47 years as an Electrical Maintenance supervisor. During this time, he married Carolynn and raised his family in Forks Township. John was an avid sports fan and loved to follow his favorite teams.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 73 years: Carolynn Mitman Gornick; daughters: Jane Paul (Mark) and Joan Sciascia (Jerry); grandchildren: Douglas and Melissa Kessler, Elizabeth and Cameron Blackman and Kevin Sciascia; great-grandchildren: Hudson Blackman and John Kessler. His brother Robert Gornick and sister Dorothy Casey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by his children: Diane Lynn Rollins and John Michael Gornick IV; grandson: Farrald Lee III.

Private Family Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
