Judith Sehn Little, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Born on June 21, 1938, in Martins Ferry OH, Judy was the cherished daughter of Woodward Vickers and Esther Lee Sehn and big sister to Vic Sehn.
She shared a lifetime of love with her devoted husband, John Wesley Little, and together they built a family rooted in warmth, laughter, and joy. Judy is lovingly remembered by her children: Baird Little and his wife Susan, Suzanne Elyce Seaman and her husband Jay, Andrea Little and her partner Chris Armstrong, and her grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Jordan Seaman, Jackson Seaman, Max Little, and Gabe Williams. She is also survived by her beloved nieces Katie and Leslie and nephews Johnny and Vic.
Judy’s career in real estate reflected her natural ability to connect with people and her dedication to helping others find the places they could call home. Her vibrant personality, gracious spirit, and eye for beauty were evident in everything she did.
A woman of style and spirit, Judy cherished her favorite places — the sun-soaked shores of Captiva Island, Florida, the family memories created at Walt Disney World, and the shared passion she had with John in rooting on Duke’s Basketball team (GO DEVILS). She loved browsing her favorite gallery Jungle Drums and having family meals at The Mucky Duck in Captiva. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: fresh flowers, a perfectly mixed martini, and the loyal companionship of her beloved dachshund, Lillibean.
Judy’s later years were marked by the loving care of Loraine Washaya, whose compassion and kindness brought comfort and peace to her days. Her love for her family will live on through the many traditions, laughter, and memories they shared together.
Judy’s life was one of beauty, devotion, and grace. She will be remembered not only for her elegance and wit but for the love she so freely gave to those blessed to know her.
A Memorial Service was held to celebrate her life at Mitchell's Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 4:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family invites loved ones to honor Judy’s memory by raising a martini in her name and cherishing the moments that make life beautiful.
