Born in Brooklyn, NY, Kevin was retired from IBM as a computer programmer and also retired from the Carolina Hurricanes. He is survived by his two sons: Brian Jones, of Smithfield and Kevin Jones and wife Lynn, of Holly Springs; two grandchildren: Luke and Callie; brother: Ricky (Laurel) Jones, of Raleigh; and by other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 2012 and brother: the late Robert (Phyllis) Jones, of Paducah, KY.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 2nd from 6-8 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave), with a memorial mass Saturday at 11 am in the St. Mary's Chapel at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
