Lois Christine Mosgrove, 86, died on April 23, 2011 at her home. Christine was born on January 14, 1925 on Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick, Canada. A registered nurse, having trained in New Brunswick and Ontario, Canada, she and her husband, John, resided in Winter Haven, FL and Atlanta, GA prior to moving to Raleigh.
Christine is survived by her husband John, of 57 years; her daughter Elizabeth Land and her husband, Herb and their children Caroline and Bradley, of Raleigh; her son David Mosgrove and his wife, Crystal and their children Michael and Matthew, of Fayetteville, GA. She will also be missed by her sisters, Ruth Cooper, of Gate City, VA, Audrey Chisholm, of Indianapolis, IN, Hildred Nason, of Glen Mills, PA, and Mary Young of Fredericton, N.B. Canada.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 at 11:00 am, Raleigh Memorial Park and Mitchell Funeral Home, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh.
