Born on November 19, 1965, in Arlington, Virginia, Lynn was the beloved daughter of Frank Ruocco and Judith Witomski Ruocco. After graduating from McLean High School in 1984, she went on to study at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
For more than 15 years, Lynn was the much-loved business manager at Carolina Dance Center, where she wore many hats — handling payroll, payment processing, merchandise sales, and greeting families at the front desk with her warm smile. She built countless friendships there, becoming an essential and cherished part of the community.
Lynn will be remembered for her loyalty, generosity, and witty sense of humor. She loved surprising her friends with thoughtful little gifts and could always be counted on for kindness and laughter. Her friends, in turn, stood by her side and supported her deeply when her illness progressed — something her family will be forever grateful for. She also had a love for the outdoors and a soft spot for bunnies, which perfectly captured her gentle and playful nature.
Lynn is survived by her parents Judy and Frank Ruocco, her sister Laura Walton, her brother John Ruocco, her niece Taylor Walton, and her nephews Nick Ruocco, Michael Ruocco, and Christopher Walton.
A Celebration of Lynn's Life was held in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 5:30pm. the family received visitors prior to the service, beginning at 4:30pm. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary’s in Aiken SC at a later date.
