Margaret was lovingly known as “Chickie” to her friends and family. She was an incredibly generous and passionate woman with a big heart. She was a pillar of strength in her family, and always cherished the time she spent with them. She loved decorating, reading, her time spent bowling with her bowling team and trips to the beach with her family. Along with her family, she also greatly loved her dogs, Duke and Benjamin.
She is survived by her children, George Matthew Kevlin, III, Catherine Leah Kevlin (Nicholas Ganci), Marisa Anne Kevlin and Kaighn Geraghty Kevlin; and her brother, Roger Burns.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am with a visitation beginning at 10:30am, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Condolences may be made online at www.MitchellatRMP.com.
