Margaret Wilson Overman, 94, passed away on December 9, 2010 following a brief illness. Born on June 20, 1916 in Asheboro, NC; she was one of seven children of the late T.W. and Lena Pugh Wilson and was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Overman in 1997.
She is survived by her son: Thomas L. Overman and wife Susan V. Overman, of Winston-Salem; granddaughters: Amy Watkins, of Sanford and Catherine Hayes and husband Michael, of Durham; and by two great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 1:30-2:30 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (300 St. Mary’s Street). Private Graveside Services will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care, Patient and Family Welfare Fund, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
