Mariana Ayad Mansi Bekheit

Mariana Ayad Mansi Bakheit, age 42, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. She was born on March 5, 1984, in Jersey City and later moved to Raleigh in 1998, where she built a life filled with love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Mariana attended Riverside High School and later graduated from Durham Technical Community College with a major in Childhood Education. She had a gentle spirit and a caring nature that touched everyone who knew her. Mariana truly had a heart of gold and was known for her sweetness, compassion, and warm smile.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time playing pool, bowling, and caring for her beloved dog, Romeo. Her laughter and loving presence will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Mariana is survived by her loving siblings, Samoueil and Youssef Bekheit, and Narges Sukkar; her siblings-in-law Amal Bekheit and Rasmy Sukkar; her cherished nieces and nephew, Rachel, Jessica, and Andrew; her uncle Fawzi and his wife, Gina Bekhet; her cousins Fady Bekhet, Fibi and her husband, Maged El Menshawi; extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Mariana’s kindness, love, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 1:00pm at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Raleigh, NC. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
