Patricia Bradley King

Patricia B. King, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. (Tom) King and parents, Fred and Lois Bradley. She is survived by her sister, Martha Forsythe; stepsons, Tommy King (Nancy); Wayne King (Joyce); stepdaughter Judy Parrish; step-grandchildren and nieces.

She retired from National Center for Health Statistics after 30 years of service; then was a receptionist at SAS for 10 years. She enjoyed worshiping and serving where needed at both Ebenezer Baptist Church and North Cary Baptist Church.

Many thanks to the efficient staff on 2nd Hall, Rehab, Apex who helped her to be both comfortable and content over the past two years; and to a faithful family friend, Janice Shepereel, who visited on so many Sunday afternoons, always bringing her a cup of tea, 'sunshine' and laughter; and to Transitions Hospice Care.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 1 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. Burial will immediately follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
