From an early age Qur'an Christopher was a light and central calm to all. Though he lived with epilepsy for over 17 years, he did not let his seizures stop him from experiencing life. It was his strength that was celebrated and adored by family .
Qu’ran adopted a shared love for art through the cultivation of his mother Christine Hawes and his sister Christina Hawes. He kept the paintings drawn by his Grandmother Juanita E.B. Crossland in his room and was always drawn to abstract paintings and watercolors. Qur’an’s never ending curiosity and quest to learn came from his Grandmother Christine Delores Hawes who passed away when he was 9 years old. Qur’an also inherited both his stature and quest to forge his own path from both his grandfathers, Thomas Crossland and Neil Adams.
Traveling was something Qur’an always looked forward to with his family. His first trip was to New York where he attended his first Broadway Production, and visited his father's hometown. Qur’an loved the city life and various cultures that filled each street. He enjoyed restaurants and always had top recommendations for family and friends. He enjoyed Asian, Indian, Greek, Caribbean and Italian food. Qur’an enjoyed coffee and tea time with his family and the various conversations it brought about. Qur’an also loved Washington DC, as well as Texas, Chicago and Las Vegas. He was curious about the natural wonders as well as film and photography.
Qu’ran attended Garner Magnet High School and graduated in 2021. While attending Garner Magnet High School he played shot put on the Track team as well as sung on the Choir team. After Graduating High School, Qur’an attended Wake Tech Community College for Cyber Security.
