Robert worked at IBM for over 30 years and retired in 1990, spending most of his time playing golf twice a week with his friends until he was 82 years old. He lived a good long life with family who loved him very much.
He is survived by his children: Michael Asenbauer of Fuquay-Varina, Barbara L. Heller of Everett, WA, Joyce Godwin, of Clayton, Carol Huskins of Knightdale; grandchildren: Carissa Huskins Smart and husband John, Kyle Huskins, Bradley Huskins, Jesse Asenbauer, Katherine Everett and husband Ross, Garrick Heller, Kristy Heller-Bemis and husband Ryan, Billy Burgess and husband Tom, and Michelle Heller; great-grandchild: Jackson Everett; and other family and friends.
