Bob was a wonderful, kind hearted man. He loved his work, technology, and the environment. Bob graduated from NC State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He had a long career with EPA.
Bob loved spending time outdoors and had many stories of long summer trips where he would drive and camp his way through Alaska and other places.
He is survived by his son, Joshua McCrackan, daughter, Kaylyn McCrackan, brother, David H. McCrackan and wife, Gloria, sisters; Frances Bliley and husband Dan, and Marsha Whitt. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carey McCrackan.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 11, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh NC 27605
