Roy and I attended school together from 1st to 12th grades. Played soft ball with him and our families vacationed together one summer. His mother Eva was my second grade teacher and his father served on the Landis fire department with my dad. Roy was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. Sad to learn of his passing and will miss seeing him at class reunions. Condolences to Roy's family and friends.

Rhonda.... You are the best "nurse" Roy could have ever had.... caring, compassionate, giving and most of all loving. Man will I miss those cookies.  Nothing like Roy's cookies and when he knew I was coming, he would make sure I had a bag to take home for Belton and I to share....Belton might have gotten a couple.  Long way from Raleigh to beach.  And when Rhonda would come for a visit, Roy would send some.  To be sure the Lord can use a good man to take care of those streets of gold in heaven. Worked with Roy for many years during my time with the Town of Cary Police Department. He always had a smile on his face no matter what was going on and had a great sense of humor.

Working with Roy was a treat.  He was always friendly, helpful, and oh so dependable.  I worked with Roy a lot during the 90s.  He was a tremendous asset to me professionally, and a good friend to me personally.  I'm deeply saddened to learn he is gone.  He touched so many with his smile, laugh, and kindness.  He will be missed by so many.

I will miss Roy's laugh.I had the privilege of cutting Roy's hair for many years.He loved to talk and we had some good talks and good laughs.

Every time I saw Roy, he always had a welcoming smile. He always felt like a friend. I am saddened because there were too few times that I had a chance to share with him. I will always remember cleaning the gutters on the roof and the candy jar at the Correll's house. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Roy was that guy you called when you needed to get things done.  Over the years I had to call on Roy for major incidents and traffic crashes and he would always make sure The needs for not only the Police Department but the Town where met.  He is missed and you and your family are in my prayers."

Mr. Roy Glenn Correll has touched my heart. While only knowing him for the short time that he was here he always made me feel welcomed when I visited and he always acknowledged me with "Hey Girl". Rhonda, We have remained close throughout the years after meeting at IBM 42 years ago. There has never been any doubt about the closeness and love that you and Roy have shared.
