Ted Herbert Sanderford

Ted was hardworking and worked with his hands all his life. He painted houses and businesses where he lived in Surf City, NC and loved to show off his talent to family and friends when they came into town. Ted loved to fish and spent most of his free time surf or pier fishing. Ted will be remembered by his love for his family, his love for fishing, and most in importantly for the kindness he showed to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Raper Sanderford; his only Son, Michael Shane Sanderford; Grandson, Phillip Michael Warren; Sisters, Patricia Sanderford Mack and Lois Sanderford Jones; Brothers, James Sanderford and Clyde Sanderford

Ted is survived by his daughters, Angela Sanderford Warren and Cindy Sanderford Honeycutt and husband Dale; Brothers, Bobby Sanderford and wife Eva and his twin, Ned Sanderford and his wife Catherine, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church,1232 Hickory Grove Church Rd. Four Oaks, NC 27524, on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:00 PM just prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park at 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC.
