Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Gennie Mize Hughes, passed into her eternal home on Tuesday September 2, 2014. She was preceded by her parents Jack and Maggie Bradsher, her first husband Captain Jackson Mize, and brother James Russell Bradsher.
Surviving are her devoted husband David Hughes of 43 years, children: Tim Mize (Mary), Cindy Mize Holt (Mike), Chuck & Cheryl Mize, Julie Mize Capote (Armand), Jackson Mize, Jr., and Craig Hughes (Doris); fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, brother Jack Bradsher, and sister Gloria Bradsher Rowell.
Gennie took great pride in her family.
