Wayne Edward Logan

Wayne Edward Logan was born 3/2/60 in Washington, DC to Sally Ann Francis and Robert Hays Logan, Sr. He died 10/22/13 at his home in Youngsville, NC. He is survived by his wife, Charlyn Cooley Logan and daughter, Jennifer Lynn Logan. He leaves behind 4 brothers, Donald Logan of Wilmington, NC, Robert Logan (Linda) of Boydton, VA, Kenneth Logan (Faye) of Lusby, MD, and Patrick Logan (Ramona) of Willow Springs, NC, 2 sisters, Rebecca Sanford(Jimmy) of Dunkirk, MD and Sue Arwood (Judd) of Raleigh, NC, cousin, Barbara Conde of New Cumberland, PA, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sally and Robert Logan, Sr. and by his grandparents, Garnet and Hays Logan.

Wayne was a licensed electrician and was employed by bioMerieux, Inc of Durham, NC for the past 20 years. Wayne enjoyed working in his yard and especially loved his cats, Pippy, Little Man and Tommy. Wayne will be greatly missed by family, friends and co-workers.

Memorial service will be conducted at Brown-Wynne Funeral home at 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh, NC on Sunday, October 27 at 2:00 PM.
