Beloved son of Henry and Lori (Frodl) Michael, Adam was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February, 2, 1998. He was a 2016 graduate of Southeast High School, where he was a friend to all. Not one for homework, he did enjoy his role as a member and officer of the Southeast chapter of Future Farmers of America, playing the trumpet in marching band, and always lending a helping hand to whomever was in need of it. Adam was attending The Ohio State University-Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, where he was earning two degrees, in Power Equipment and Hydraulic Power & Motion Control. He was employed by Leppo Rents in Wooster, where he served customers, serviced equipment, and worked in salvage. Adam loved being outdoors, farming, cutting wood, and working on tractors. He especially enjoyed restoring antique John Deere’s, and was a member of the Antique Tractor Association of Trumbull County.
Never one to sit still, Adam was always lending a helping hand to others or looking for his next project. Adam could often be found working on his two trucks, one inherited from his grandfather, and the other, a diesel he always wanted. However, it could be said he had a love-hate relationship with them; it depended on the day. Adam was always looking ahead and planning for bigger and better things. It was sometimes a challenge for him to stay focused on the here and now. Adam was loud and rambunctious, always smiling, laughing, and singing. He brought joy, and frustration, to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Adam leaves his beloved sisters, Grace and Hannah, to cherish his memory. He is also survived by his grandmother, Tommie Tomlinson, and many, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry Michael Sr., Alan Tomlinson, and Vincent & Lois Frodl.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Southeast High School, 8423 Tallmadge Rd., Ravenna, Ohio from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral services, officiated by Chaplain William Wisniewski, will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Palmyra West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund established in his memory. Contact Adam Jenkins at Edward Jones Investments at 330-274-8087 for details.
