He was born April 27, 1949, in Niagara Falls, New York. Alvin served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Burial with full military honors will take place at 1:30 PM on Monday, May 11, 2015, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
