Andrew William Casciato, Jr.

He was born December 3, 1971, in Bedford, Ohio, to parents Cindy K. (Harvell) and Andrew William Casciato Sr. He was known as Drew to family and friends. Drew graduated from Maplewood Career Center in 1990. He was working for the City of Akron Water Department.

Drew loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the NRA, and enjoyed the freedom of riding his Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

Drew is survived by his daughter Amanda Casciato, his parents Andrew and Cindy Casciato Sr., his brother Danny Casciato, and his sisters Tara (George) Newsome and Virginia Edwards, his uncle and Godfather Bill Casciato, as well as his nephews Caleb Edwards, Bryce Edwards, Vincent Newsome, and Dominic Newsome, and his beloved German Shepherd, Harley.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Chaplain Bill Wisniewski at 3:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St., Ravenna. A time to celebrate Drew’s life will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at VFW Post 1055, 6000 New Milford Rd, Ravenna. Private burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery.
