Bill L. Bower

He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 29, 1944, to parents Richard and Florence (Logan) Bower. Bill was retired from Coca Cola as a tow motor operator in shipping after a 30 plus year career.

Bill attended the Church of Christ in Ravenna, and he enjoyed taking casino trips, playing bingo and making his rounds socializing with his neighbors. He was a loving husband and dad and loved his grandkids.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dora, his daughter Melissa Tracy and son Ricky Lee Bower. Left also are his beloved grandchildren Brandi Davis, Brittani (Chris) Davis, Kayla Varner, Cody Hamrick and Dylan & Blake Bower. Surviving also are 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and his sisters Carol (Carl) Talshaw, Denise Siciliano, Debra (Dave) Cross as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his son Billy L. Bower Jr.

A Celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2pm, at the Ravenna Church of Christ, 3897 Summit Rd. Ravenna, Oh. 44266. A fellowship dinner will follow.

He will be inurned with his son at Grandview Memorial Park at a later date.
