Charles was born in Ravenna, Ohio on June 17, 1944 to parents Raymond and Hilda Christy. Charles was a retired machinist who liked to fish and hunt and especially enjoyed his visits to the casinos.
Surviving Charles are his children: Michelle Foist, Diane Prasifca, Charles Christy, Terry Christy and step-son Steve Carrington. Surviving also are his siblings: Marion (Julie) Christy, Carl (Bonnie) Christy, John (Kathy) Christy, Judi Christy, Sandy Maurer and Pam Christy and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded by his parents and his brother Lee Christy.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 10:00AM until the 12:00PM Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Bernard Christy.
