

He was born December 16, 1971, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a son of Ralph and Betty Jean (Long) Lynch. Charles worked at Chas. Svec. Inc. in Maple Heights and was a member of Teamsters Local 436. Charles graduated from Ravenna High School in 1991 and lettered in football and as a heavyweight wrestler. He was fond of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, farming, and Indian history. Charles loved animals, and was an all around gentle giant.
He is survived by his mother Betty Jean Lynch; siblings: Brenda (Jim) Lane of Newton Falls, Dennis Lynch, Darlene (Lonnie) Scarlett, Christine (Waide) Montgomery, Adrienne (Thomas) Moore, and Dwayne (Beth) Lynch all of Ravenna. Charles also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Lynch, grandparents Olive and Charles Long, and Marie and Ferris Pierson.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor K. Brent Joy at 11:00 AM on Friday.
