Charles was born April 10, 1950, in Bedford to his parents William F. Ozmun and Dessie Ozmun.
Charles has always valued hard work, beginning his career early in life as a proud UAW member of local 420 at Ford Motor Company in the Walton Hills Stamping Plant where he dedicated over 30 years. Between the hours he dedicated to Ford, Charles also took pride and enjoyment in event-planning, playing an integral role in planning and hosting benefits for coworkers and their families experiencing hardship. He was the first to show up, and the last to leave at all the company picnics ensuring that they ran smoothly so everyone would have a good time. Upon retirement from Ford Motor Company, Charles continued his working legacy at Spitzer Ford where he enjoyed transporting passengers and hearing their stories, driving new vehicles, and bringing joy to everyone he came across.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, playing pool and poker, and drinking black coffee while spending Sunday mornings score keeping at the ball fields; rooting his softball team of friends and family to victory.
Charles was an avid family man, loved and admired by all. His loss will be felt deeply, as he has always been the rock and strength of the family.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Pyle Ozmun, of 34 full and loving years. He shared with her a zest for life, enjoyed outings on the bike, and spending time with the family he loved so much.
