Clara Mae Jones DeWeese

She was born December 30, 1923, in Middleport, Ohio, to parents Harley and Donna Mae (Massie) Jones. Clara was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Paul “Bub” (Susan) DeWeese, Thomas Edward (Linda) DeWeese, Keith (Cindi) DeWeese, and Connie Wright (Charlie), as well as her grandchildren: Ed (fiancé Cindy) DeWeese, Debbie (Ray) Moody, Jim DeWeese, Tina (Todd) Shelton, Cheryl (Bryan) Reese, Tommy (Michelle) DeWeese, Tami (David) Villoni, Tim (Jenni) DeWeese, Dana Dietrich, Scott (Estella) Radenbaugh, Lyndsey Wright, Frank Reed and Adam Reed, and her sister Pauline Konkle. Her memory will also be shared by her 18 great-grandchildren, and her 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward DeWeese, her parents, and her siblings: Marvin Jones, Carl Jones, William Jones, Beatrice Christy, and Grace Mobley.

Friends will be received Friday, October 30, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Reverend Bernard Christy and Reverend W. David Rosenberger will officiate the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
