He was born July 11, 1940, in Handley, West Virginia, to parents Clifford and Dorothy (Cantley) Legg.
Kip proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and playing baseball and softball. Kip worked for General Motors in Parma for over 38 years where he served as a Committeeman and Union Rep for many years.
In addition to his parents, Kip is preceded in death by his son Shawn Legg, and his granddaughter Carisa Legg.
Kip is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Laverne (McCombs) Legg, his son Todd Legg, and his grandson Greg Legg.
His wishes for cremation are being honored and no services are planned.
