Dale E. Liller

He was born September 6, 1934, in Oakland, Maryland, to parents Clyde and Helen (Benard) Liller. Dale graduated from Akron Howard High School and went on to have a 35 year career with Ohio Bell. He mostly worked as a cable splicer and with plant protection until his retirement in 1986.

Dale loved the outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Dale also enjoyed boating, camping, and tending to his garden. Even though he retired in 1986, Dale kept himself busy always working on projects around the house.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathryn Iris Watters Liller, his son Dale Liller Jr., his daughter Linda Harvey, his grandson Kevin Liller, and his sister Imogene.

He is survived by his children: Edward Liller, Lisa (Bob) Ice, Richard (Cheryl) Liller, and Debra (Darrell) Cox, as well as his 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
