He was born March 25, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, to parents Woodrow and Ruth (Eidmann) Ryan. Dan was passionate about eagles, and was an avid eagle photographer.
He is survived by his children: Yvonne (Jim) Hoover of Alliance, Dan (Cynthia) Ryan Jr. of Carrollton, and Keith Ryan of Massillon, as well as his brothers Jack (Janet “SIL”) Ryan of Arkansas and Dave (Lee) Ryan of North Carolina. Dan’s memory will also be cherished by his 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and friends will be received Tuesday, November 10, 2015, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Pastor David Ballert will officiate the memorial service immediately following at 6:00 PM.
