She was born March 22, 1936, in Montgomery, West Virginia, to parents Boyd and Ora (Pauley) Woodrum. Daneise worked for many years as a bartender at several of the social clubs in the area. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her lengthy phone conversations with family members will be missed.
Daneise is survived by her sons: Timothy Holcomb, Gregory (Betty) Holcomb, Steve (Joyce) Holcomb, Dale (Tonya) Evans, James (Tammy) Evans, and Roy (Martha) Evans, as well as her brothers: Rodney Woodrum, Roger Woodrum, John Woodrum, and Jeffrey Woodrum, her sister Noca Kumher, and her longtime companion Jerry Dean. Her memory will also be cherished by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Daneise was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gerald Woodrum, and her sister Greta McMillian.
