Danielle Sands

Dani was the daughter of Joshua Rodger Sands and Norma (Riemenschneider) Sands, both who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Michelle (Justin) Kleinheider, her nephews Ronan and Eliot Kleinheider, as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Dani lived in Rootstown, Ohio for the majority of her life. She graduated from Rootstown High School in 1996. While in school, Dani loved music and excelled at performing both the piano and the saxophone and easily picked up playing any instrument she tried her hand at.

Dani was a life-long animal lover. Throughout her life she cared for many pets including rabbits, rats, birds and more. She took immense pride in being a “dog mom” to her beloved German shepherd Tootsie.

Dani worked several jobs in her life, including being an assistant manager at Circle K in Rootstown and Ravenna. Many coworkers and customers remember her for her big smile and the joy she experienced working with people.

A private graveside service is planned. The family asks for any donations made in Dani’s memory be made to First Congregational Church United Church of Christ of Rootstown at 4022 OH-44, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.
