

He was born July 29, 1948, in the small town of Dwarf, Kentucky, to parents Ira and Melda (Noble) Stacy. Danny grew up in the hills of Kentucky and assumed a role of caregiver within his family throughout his life.
He moved to Portage County and graduated from Ravenna High School. Danny later proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Air Force. He worked for many years at the Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant until his retirement in 2002. Danny always tried to stay busy around the house. He would often work on crossword puzzles, go for walks, and watch sports, especially University of Kentucky basketball.
Danny is survived by his beloved wife Mary Jane (Kienzle) Stacy, his siblings: Ira J.(Linda) Stacy Jr., Verna Stacy, Betty S. Epple, Don R. (Vera) Stacy, Letty Knapp, Jo (Rick) Kurtz, and Nancy Napier. He is also survived by his children: Angela (Matthew) Baker and Jennifer (Jason) Long, his grandchildren: Nickalaus (Casey) Corpe, Jessica Baker, Jarret Baker, Madison Schrader, and Ian Schrader, and great-granddaughter Kaylee Corpe, and was the favored uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael Corpe.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow with military honors at Maple Grove Cemetery.
