Dennis J. Sheesley Sr.

Dennis was born September 27, 1943 to the late Joseph Sheesley and Melva Phillips. Dennis served in the United States Army from 1961-1963. He married the love of his life Carol (Snyder) Sheesley on June 20, 1970.

Dennis worked at Rockwell, Brainard Strapping and he retired from Alcan of Warren. He loved his many vacations to Florida with his family and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Dennis is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Carol (Snyder) Sheesley and their children: daughters: Robin (Coolidge) Greer, Tina Kren, Christina (Val Ward) Sheesley and son Dennis J. Sheesley Jr. Surviving also are grandchildren: Jazzalynn, DJ, David, Tammy Jo, Justice, Jacob, Ashley, Brandy, Eric and Danny and 5 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers: Kerry (Anna) Sheesley of Warren, Oh. and Wally (Rochelle) Phillips of California.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Sheesley, granddaughter Amy Lynn and grandsons: Gary Michael and Jeramie Robert.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 11:00am until the 1:00pm funeral service officiated by Pastor Jody Hill. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery.
