

Donna Ruth (Lloyd) Freshley, age 87 of Randolph, passed away August 2, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Akron on Feb. 24, 1923 to the late John and Minnie Lloyd, a graduate of Atwater High, she worked at Artz Jewelry Store and at Montgomery Wards. She married Kenny Freshley in 1944. In 1952 they built their home in Randolph. For nearly 60 yrs. she played cards with her friends and she looked forward to breakfast and laughter with the Thursday morning Hartville gals. She told funny jokes and made us all laugh. Donna loved the Big Band music and danced in the kitchen. She will be missed by so many.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Kenny; sister, Helen Kries. She is survived by her children; son, Timothy Freshley (Cheryl Murcko) and daughter Marji (Rick) Horning of Randolph; and daughter, Susan (Sal) Brugnano of Munroe Falls; five grand¬children and eight great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. memorial service at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna. The final resting place will be at Atwater Cemetery on a later date.
