Drew Louis Pahls

Drew was born November 18, 1957 in Akron to the late Anthony H. and Mary Catherine (Raik) Pahls. He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception School and Ravenna High School. Drew worked for Land-o-Lakes for many years.

Drew was a very talented guitar player and was in a band known as “Philander”. He was daring and loved piloting his ultralight planes for many years.

He is survived by his brothers, Tony (Pat) Pahls and Larry (Kathy) Pahls; his sisters, Martha (Steve) Der, Barb (Brian) Borton, Jeannie (Scott) VanHorn, and Joan Pahls; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides his parents, Drew is preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Gless Schuman, and his brother Leo Pahls.

Friends may call 6-8PM Tuesday at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main Street in Ravenna. Where the funeral service will be 11AM Wednesday with Rev. Fr. William Kraynak, officiant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Pahls’ family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and aides of the Western Reserve Hospice and UH Portage for the care and love they gave Drew.
