

He was born August 9, 1947, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Virginia (Alcorn) and Royal Edgar Long Jr. After graduating from Ravenna High School in 1965, Duff joined the Air Force and served in Vietnam.
Duff went on to a distinguished career in sales for Primary Packaging Inc. in Bolivar, Ohio. He was an avid golfer and member of the Ravenna Elks Lodge 1076. Duff was also a pilot and member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, and was a race car driver in his younger years.
On December 27, 1975, Duff married his beloved Marti (Hoover) Long. In addition to Marti, Duff is survived by his children: Eric (Lia) Long and Clay (Brenna) Long, his grandchildren: Charlotte “Charlie” Long, Gavyn Long, Brady Long, and Griffin Long. He is also survived by his siblings: Elsa Long, Mike Long, John Long, Dan Long, Kathy White, and Joel Daunic.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sibling Pierre Daunic.
