Eldon Jason Abbe

He was born May 19, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Norman M. and Marie (Fahnenbruck) Abbe. Eldon graduated from North High School in 1963 and attended KSU and Akron University. He was a long distance truck driver with Lester Coggins Trucking and retired from Amerigas Propane.

Eldon was a skilled handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed excavating his backyard and had a habit of collecting unique odds and ends. His loss will also be felt hard by Harbor Freight. Most of all though, Eldon loved his family, and cherished their Sunday Family Day.

Eldon is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 44 years Deborah Abbe, daughter Stacey (Adam) Bond, son Nathan (Meagan) Abbe, and his grandchildren: Abbe, Leo, and Emery. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Marnon, and his son Christopher.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
