He was born on October 21, 1944, in Edinburg, Ohio.
Garry is survived by his daughter, Kris (Greg) Gleisinger, his sister Louella Fedor, and his brothers John Wilson and Joe (Sue) Wilson. Also surviving are two grandsons, Tyler and Brandon Gleisinger.
Garry was preceded in death by his son, Garry Wilson of Alaska, his parents Stacy and Audrey earl Wilson, his sister Anne Meihls and his brother Melvin Wilson.
Garry attended Crestwood schools in Mantua. He had his own construction business with a dump truck and bulldozer, where he did concrete work. Later he was employed by Falkenberg Excavating. He also worked out of state, digging tunnels to run fiber optic cables.
He loved horses and showed horses for Keller Electric. He also worked for many year at Thistledown Racetrack.
Per his wishes, cremation is being honored and a private family graveside service will be held at Drakesburg cemetery in Freedom at a later date.
