

Jack was born June 25, 1931, to Marjorie and Edgar Foster in Flatwoods, Kentucky and was the third of twelve children. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, Jack earned a degree in Accounting from Boheckers Business College on the GI Bill. He was an entrepreneur and a pioneer in the metal recycling industry all his life. Jack was a gentleman, a voracious reader, an avid traveler, a pilot of airplanes and RVs, a lover of western movies, a gambler, and he was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his wife Kathleen Foster, his daughters Linda (Frank) Gruca, Pamela (Robert) Allen, son Doug (Penny) Foster, step-daughters Kate (Dennis) Cerasoli and Christine (Justin) Hunt, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, first wife Pauline, his sons Paul and David, and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held at the Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, FL. Jack will be interred with military honors at the Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown, OH on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 12:00 PM with full military honors.
